linux question about screen readers Show more
@Fidgetcetera I some research on accessibility on Linux a while back (https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit/wiki/Universal-Access-%28Accessibility%29) and found:
1. Orca works much better in X11 instead of Wayland, and it is possible to change voices (flite) to make it sound better.
2. Emacspeak, but then you have to use Emacs for everything.
3. ChromeVox Classic (Chrome only; dropped by Google in favor of the ChromeBook version)
